Exodus Consulting was founded in 2016 by former DBAs and AWS Database SME Consultants who spent decades in the trenches building, securing, and modernizing the world's most demanding enterprise database platforms.

Unlike generalist cloud consultancies, every engagement is led by practitioners who have held the pager, responded to the outage, and architected the migrations themselves across global financial institutions, energy companies, and hospitality enterprises, at a scale most firms never encounter.

We exist to bring that depth of expertise directly to organizations navigating modern database complexity, without the overhead of a large firm and with the accountability of a team that has lived the work firsthand.

Our founding story

Exodus was born from a simple conviction: the best database consulting comes from people who have done the work themselves. Our founders spent years as DBAs and AWS Database SMEs inside global enterprises — advising on migrations, responding to incidents, and delivering platform transformations that kept critical systems running. In 2016, we brought that expertise together under one roof, purpose-built to serve clients who can’t afford to get it wrong.
